Changes to my study programme

Hi classmates! 

On this occasion, I am going to tell you about the changes I would like to makes to my study programme in my career of journalism in the Universidad de Chile. 

Since I entered at the university in 2015, I have felt that the course of general formation (CFG) are to much, because these courses require a lot of time, which could be used in other subjetcs. Maybe three courses of general formation in the university career would be enough.

Other thing that I would like to changes is incorporate the curriculum courses about technological tools that alllows me to have skills in editing videos and audios, because I and my university classmates have had to learn alone how to use Adobe Audition and Premiere. 

On the infraestructure I think it is necessary to make several changes. One of the things that are missing in this campus are green areas, since many places are made of cement and earth... and in very few places there is grass, trees and flowers. Also I consider that is necessary for the Institute of Communication and Image to have a larger library, because the one it currently has is very small. This causes people to talk a lot and listen to their entire conversation, which is why the library is no longer a place to study in a quiet way.

Finally I think it is necessary that teachers should have an agreement on the topics taught in the subjects called: contemporary visual culture, cultural studies and communication classics. Because there is a very large discrepancy on the topics that are teached in these courses, since the teachers adapt it to their interests. This causes students to have more skills than others, which seems unfair.

Since I was a child I have been interested in the arts such as dance, theater and poetry. It is for this reason that the film Jimmys Hall has liked me so much. This film I liked a lot because it mixes my tastes in one film. It has romanticism, joy, sadness and dancing! The country I would like to visit

The country I would like visit is Australia, because since I was a child I find a very beautiful and fun place.  When I was a child I liked to see Australian series like for example:  The Sleepover Club,  H2O: Just Add Water and Dance Academy.  In these series I discovered the beautiful places that were in Australia  and since that time I dream know this country.  The city that catches my attention is Sydney, because it is very modern and at the same time knows how to live with the nature. the places that I would like visit in Sydney is the Opera House and Luna Park Sydney. Nevertheless I would like to know other beautiful places of that country like: the  Great Barrier Reef, the Blue M ountains and the National Park Kakadu,  to get to know a kangaroos. My future job

Hello classmates today I will tell you about the work I would like to do in the future. well ... I must admit that when I started to study the journalism career at the University of Chile I thought I would like to work on television, being a reporter. However over the years I have noticed that the media such as television and radio are not my favorites. because the work environment in these media is very very stressful. and I do not feel able to control those high levels of stress. but I have noticed that the career of journalist is a very versatile area, which is why it is not necessary to focus only on traditional media (only news topics), because there are other media that deal with more relaxed topics ... . and I think that's what I'm going to dedicate myself to. I would like to work in a magazine that talks about fashion or beauty, like for example in Cosmopolitan Chile, because I am interested in all those types of topics.
