Jimmy´s Hall
Since I was a child I have been interested in the arts such as dance, theater and poetry. It is for this reason that the film Jimmys Hall has liked me so much.
This film I liked a lot because it mixes my tastes in one film. It has romanticism, joy, sadness and dancing! Also the music of the film is very good, because is contributes of the drama the story
The
work of director Ken Loach describes the life of the political activist James
Gralton, who fights against all the moral thoughts of the church and of a
society consumed by conservatism.
Undoubtedly, my favorite character is Jimmy Gralton, because he orders very revolutionary ideals, who are able to fight with the traditional to achieve their most desired goals.
The part that I did not like was when the military broke into the Jimmy´s Hall social center, because they beat Oonagh and also because that fact forces
the protagonist to leave his hometown, to leave for the USA.
On the other hand, my favorite part of the movie is when Jimmys returns
to open his social center where all his friends and colleagues danced Jazz in a
very happy way! I like that scene because it demonstrates the freedom of
expression of that moment.
I also like the art in this movie, principally the irish music and the songs singed by Oonagh
